The McDSP 6060 Ultimate Modular Collection HD v7 is a HD-ready collection of over 30 unique modules in a self-contained plug-in for mixing and mastering engineers and creative sound designers. Compatible with HD formats, the McDSP 6060 Ultimate Modular Collection HD v7 can run on your host processing or the DSP processors (such as the McDSP APB or the Avid HDX) to save your system from excessive CPU. Containing a wide variety of EQs, compressors, saturators, distortions, filters, expanders, gates and more, the 6060 Ultimate Modular Collection gives you the tools to transform any sound source in almost any way possible. Integrated within the McDSP 6060 is the Split Mode, allowing you to separate and individually process frequency ranges within the plug-in, without using any other plug-ins. An extremely useful tool for contemporary mixing engineers, splitting the frequencies of instruments is very common in the studio and can be used to great effect on electric bass guitar. Using Split Mode, you can process the low-end to maintain a full and round sound that is consistent in the mix, providing energy and movement while adding some saturation, grit and harmonics to the mids and highs to cut through a dense mix. With McDSP 6060 Ultimate Modular Collection, you don't need to use any external EQ's, filters or even duplicating tracks to achieve this result, you can do it all inside the plug-in itself.
