The Trevor James Horn 88 Soprano Saxophone is a free blowing horn with a one-piece body. Finished with a champagne gold frost finish and smokey grey pearl touchpieces, this saxophone not only looks good but sounds great too. Its finish is a new water based coating that becomes very hard when baked. The inside of the crook tenon has gun rifling to intensify the air flow and tonal dynamics. This product includes a moulded hard case to keep your Trevor James soprano saxophone looking and sounding great. The case can also be used as protection for your instrument during travel and set-up.

View Full DescriptionIn 1988, the first idea for a Trevor James saxophone was created after the Worldwide achievement and recognition of Trevor James flutes. At the time there were only a small number of quality brand names for saxophone players to choose from, which left a gap in the market to develop a new, free blowing, high quality, well designed instrument.
The original idea was developed further, following a full scale launch in 1990 for the first ever “The Horn” saxophone. The launch happened at Pizza Express Jazz bar in Maidstone, UK.For the 25th year anniversary Trevor James decided to make the new Horn ’88. Still to this day the instrument reflects on this design with some added visuals and performance “twists”.
