The nylon core has a similar tone to real gut, but has the benefit of being insensitive to any environmental changes, such as temperature and humidity. The aluminium winding on the A and D strings complements the C and G strings’ silver winding for a comfortable feel. The strings are ideal for advancing musicians who want the malleable tone of gut with the reliability of nylon. Each string has a ball tailpiece end and medium gauge tension.
