It's not voodoo, it's just expert design. The MasterMagic is powered by state of the art algorithms to give your music a leg-up on the competition. Used as the last plug-in of your master chain, RP-MasterMagic can turn a good sounding mix into a great sounding master. Using only two parameters, you might think that the effect will be negligible in your mix but this could not be further from the truth. A proprietary 'Air' setting allows you to boost in the ultra-high frequency range from 30-40kHz with a very wide bandwidth. This gives your sound more air and openness, allowing your instruments to shine bright without any typical shrill or harsh harmonics you get from boosting with traditional EQs.
The not-so-hidden trick up its sleeve, MasterMagic employs a sweepable Mono and Stereo filter cut-off. This is an often overlooked aspect of tidying up mixes ready for release and can be extremely powerful when used correctly. Using the cut-off frequency, you can turn any frequency from stereo to mono below your set threshold. Turning everything mono in the low register helps to tighten up your bass end by removing any excess low frequencies from your left and right channels. As low frequencies contain more energy, they are more bidirectional meaning they are perceived as coming from all around us.
