Pure analog sound and flexible routing
The NUO 4.0F combines Ecler’s analog sound character with modern routing control for every kind of performance. Four channels accept phono, line, aux or microphone sources, each with dedicated gain and three band EQ. The mixer delivers a full frequency response from 10 Hz to 30 kHz with minimal distortion, keeping sound natural and detailed.
Balanced XLR outputs for master and booth channels provide professional level output for clubs or recording setups. Separate record and FX send outputs simplify live and studio integration, and internal dip switches allow you to increase master and booth output gain by 12 dB when connecting to high headroom amplifiers.
Dual VCF filters for creative mixing
Two independent voltage controlled filters give DJs wide control over tone and movement in the mix. Each channel can route to either filter and switch between high pass and low pass modes. Frequency sweeps from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and resonance adds up to 12 dB of emphasis for sweeping transitions and dramatic build ups.
The filters’ fully analog design ensures smooth natural behaviour and authentic texture. Both filters can also process external effects return signals, extending sound design options when performing live or in the studio.
Crossfader precision for scratching and blending
The NUO 4.0F includes Ecler’s advanced VCA crossfader system for smooth movement and long life. It can also be fitted with the ETERNAL magnetic crossfader, offering contact free performance for scratch specialists.
Shape, reverse and cut in controls allow you to define your own feel from gradual blends to sharp cuts. Each channel can be assigned to either side of the crossfader or bypassed entirely for layered mixes. The 60 mm faders and adjustable curves provide fine control for every style from house and techno to hip hop and performance turntablism.
Professional connectivity and monitoring
With balanced XLR master and booth outputs, unbalanced record and FX send or return ports, and a combo XLR jack for microphone input, the NUO 4.0F fits seamlessly into any DJ booth. Two headphone outputs let two DJs pre listen to different channels simultaneously with independent PFL controls, making it perfect for back to back sets.
The monitoring section includes a split mode, mix balance and individual volume controls for precise cueing. Housed in a tough metal chassis with ALPS potentiometers and faders rated for millions of movements, the NUO 4.0F delivers the reliability and tactile precision that define Ecler’s professional range.
