Musical maple

Bright, snappy, and containing excellent response, maple is the choice tonewood for this pint-sized bass. An excellent selection for its stability, durability and superb resonance, maple delivers a clear sound and sturdy platform for the body. A dense and solid wood, it imbues excellent sustain and bite into stringed instruments. While it has crisp pronouncement of the mid and upper registers, it also articulates lower frequencies with clarity, making it an excellent match for the Ultra-Light acoustic-electric bass.

Paired with a black walnut fingerboard, the two woods combine for excellent, dark sonics with plenty of depth. Smooth and slick to play, the black walnut is dark in both tone and colour, providing a striking contrast to the mahogany body.

Shorter and lighter

Just how small can you make a classical guitar without losing that signature sound? Traveler set out to answer that question and have come up with the Ulra-Light. You have access to that full-scale playing experience found in a typical full-size guitar, while at the same time being far more portable. You don't even lose a guitar's curvy comfort, as an included removeable lap rest let's you settle in for a session just like normal.

While classical guitars aren't impossible to move around, they are undeniably bulky. Making most forms of transport awkward and cumbersome.
