Ida Nielsen is a highly talented Danish bassist and composer, renowned for her exceptional skills and unique playing style. Having started her musical journey at a young age, Ida's dedication to her craft led her to become the bassist for the legendary artist, Prince, from 2010 until his untimely passing in 2016. As a member of Prince's backing bands, The New Power Generation and 3rdeyegirl, she played an integral role in the creation of some of his most iconic works. In addition to her work with Prince, Ida has also made a name for herself as a solo artist, releasing several albums that showcase her innovative fusion of funk, rock, and jazz influences. Her undeniable talent, charismatic stage presence, and passion for music continue to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.
