Ideal for overdriven tones and high output aggression, they'll voice solos with a sizzle and chords with a crunch. And while they're excellent for saturated distortion, the Wolfgangs are still articulate and musical on clean settings. And as the name implies, they're mounted directly to the body, so they'll extract every detail of your string vibrations and sustain for days on end.

Boasting a high-end sparkle and plenty of mid-range definition, you're afforded heaps of tonal versatility. And that only gets better when you use the custom black knurled 500k pots to shape your sound. Featuring a grippy texture on the dials, you can make fine adjustments without having to look down - perfect for on-the-fly sculpting.

Built for speed. The Wolfgang Standard is all about upping the tempo, and that's why its neck and fretboard have been meticulously carved into shapes that encourage rapid riffing. The neck profile is made to the legendary "Wolfgang Backshape" that fits comfortably in your palm and affords your fingers plenty of room on the fretboard. In addition, the neck is oiled for a slippery feel that lets your hand move around at a lightning pace.

On the fret side, the maple board has been carefully moulded into a compound radius. This means you'll execute complex chords near the nut with ease, and as you move up the board, you'll notice a flatter surface that's perfect for string bends and expansive lead lines. But that's not all! The ultra-comfortable rolled edges of the board let you focus fully on the playing, providing a frictionless feel all over the scales.

So, the Wolfgang Standard is equipped to enable energetic, virtuoso performances. But it's also equipped to withstand them, because a baked maple neck ensures a strong rigidity that's super resistant to climate and humidity damage. And because you might be adjusting your string tension frequently through the locking bridge, there's an extremely handy truss rod adjustment wheel at the base of the neck so you can compensate.
