The Schecter Custom Reissue has a body constructed from high quality Mahogany to produce powerful tones. The Mahogany body offers naturally rich, warm tones, with a balance of grind and bite to create tights lows and appealing highs. The wood offers the guitar excellent amounts of depth and helps provide an incredible sustain. With crème binding, chrome hardware, and a TonePros bridge, the Schecter is given a see-thru cherry finish with a 6661 graphic to create a visually stunning look that is both stylish and unique.
The 3-piece Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard has been designed to offer a smooth, fast play, whilst the naturally oily Rosewood fingerboard absorbs stray overtones for a rich sound. The Mahogany/Rosewood combination produces warm, mellow tones with complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and an appealing midrange. It also comes with many other features including Grover machine heads that provide smooth, fine tuning and great stability, and crown inlays made from mother of pearl and abalone, with a 6661 inlay at the 12th fret.
Featuring a set of Seymour Duncan pickups, the Schecter Custom Reissue can create devastatingly powerful tones. The Seymour Duncan JB pickups were first designed in the early 70s and have gone on to be one of their most popular pickups. Designed with an alnico 5 bar magnet and hot coils, these pickups can add juice and versatility to the bridge position whilst producing an unmistakable upper midrange attack. The pickups also offer tightly articulated lows and harmonically rich highs, making it perfect for playing a wide range of music.
