Constructed from high quality swamp ash, the bass is incredibly lightweight while also remaining impressively resonant. Infusing your bass with a soaring sweetness, with scintillating highs and firm together lows, and a slightly scooped mid-range for an excellent amount of sustain letting each note ring with crisp clarity. Further supported through a custom bass bridge, you can be assured of the quality of the bass guitars overall construction.
Maple neck & Fretboard
The Stiletto Session features both a neck and fingerboard that is constructed from maple. I mean initially the maple delivers that Schecter tone with a snappy attack and bright characteristics. But the main reason its employed is for its amazing playability. Soar from the extremes of the fingerboards rang with ease and accuracy thanks to the maple’s luscious flawless characteristic. Bounce from note to note with ease and make the most of this comfortable construction.
EMG Humbucker
The Schecter Stiletto Session-5 Bass Guitar features a set of powerful EMG pickups allowing it to produce sensationally crisp and punchy lows with scintillating highs across all frequency ranges. An ultra-responsive dual coil EMG 40DC is positioned at the bridge to provide an incredible thick tone while keeping unwanted noise to a minimum. An EMG 40J single coil pickup is positioned at the neck provides a warm, deep tone thanks to the increased low frequency response, allowing you to achieve a vast range of professional tones. The Schecter also features a three-band EQ with controls over the bass, mid and treble, allowing the bass to be shaped to best suit your playing style.
