Natural resonance

Unlike a typical, solid guitar, the Cordoba Stage features a fully chambered mahogany body for enhanced resonance. This gives you the warmth and midrange emphasis of mahogany’s tone with the sparkle and clarity of the spruce top. In fact, because of the chambered construction, the top is able to vibrate freely, aided by strategically-located soundhole arches. A flamed maple veneer then alleviates any feedback for a crisp, clear tone.

...when you’re after a dazzling performance. As well as a lightweight chambered body, this guitar features Cordoba’s Fusion neck and a 16” fretboard radius. Thinner than your average nylon string guitar, the neck and fretboard provide a playing experience that is easier for steel-string players and guitarists with smaller hands. The contours and cutaway of the body then provide ergonomic playability and effortless access to the top frets.

Fishman electronics

Fishman co-developed the Cordoba Stage pickup system to deliver a faithful response of those clear-sounding nylon strings. There are volume, EQ, and body blend controls for impeccable sound that is unique to you. And the controls are easy to reach, so you can alter your tone in the blink of an eye.
