The Gewa Air 2.1 oblong violin case is a premium case that offers the most robust protection. Similar to other high-quality cases from the Gewa, the Air 2.1 uses a padded suspension system for the main body of the case. This design provides both physical and thermal protection for your violin.
Unlike similarly priced violin cases, the Gewa air features an external accessory pocket. This pocket is perfect for carrying all of your sheet music, and can easily be removed if needed. Included with the Gewa Air case are two neoprene anti-slip backpack straps to transport the case to musical events easily. The inside of the Gewa 2.1 case will comfortably hold a full-sized violin, four bows, and accessories.
It's good enough for professionals. Ray Chen, a world-famous violinist, is currently touring the world, trusting his Stradivari violin in his Air case by GEWA. While on his travels, his prized instrument has to put up with some of the most demanding climates zone - a stressful time for any touring musician. From Austraila to New York, Chen carries his violin in confidence that the Air's special isolation characteristics will protect his instrument from any humidity changes. To celebrate working with such an established artist, GEWA proudly presents the exclusive special edition of the Air series - the Ray Chen Signature.
