The RME ADI-2 Pro Anniversary Edition is a premium-grade AD/DA converter, featuring a 2-in/4-out configuration. The ADI-2 Pro Converter is one of the most coveted converters on the market, and to celebrate RME’s 20th anniversary, this limited run of special edition converters includes a range of modifications. One of the most noticeable changes is the sleek black housing, with a unique transparent top which is scratch-resistant. The rear TS double socket has been improved, now features gold-plates contacts to match the front panel headphone connections. An additional metal shield is designed to optimise crosstalk suppression between the left and right XLR inputs. Additionally, the four rubber feet have been replaced with four stylised Hi-Fi style feet, with a brushed chrome design. The RME ADI-2 Pro comes complete with a special sleeve and manual (with additional text and matching photo).

A double headphone amplifier is included with 2 headphone outputs for private monitoring, providing reference-grade audio. The interface itself utilises USB 2.0 technology for optimal signal integrity and high-speed data transference. This ensures optimal audio fidelity and improved performance. Also included is a range of digital connectivity including ADT, SPDIF I/O, AES/EBU and SPDIF coaxial.

The RME ADI-2 features a multitude of functions and components that result in crystal clear transparency and exceptional audio fidelity. The unit itself features a high-class USB DAC offering high quality analog conversion (to and from AES, SPDIF and ADAT) plus a premium-quality headphone amplifier. The built-in headphone amplifier feature two separately controlled outputs for versatile connectivity. The ADI-2 supports sample frequencies up to 7668 kHz, plus it features a parametric 5-band EQ and low cut for all analog I/O's for audio correction and editing. Additionally, the ADI-2 features an excellent Signal-To-Noise ratio and reference-class THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) for crystal clear transparency and the best possible audio quality.

Intuitive, Powerful Design

One of the most unique features of the ADI-2 is the intuitive way it selects preamp modes dependent on what connection you are using. The ADI-2 will automatically switch between to a AD/DA converter, USB interface or analog preamp mode for added versatility. This means you can use the ADI-2 for a range of functions, acting primarily as a converter or an audio interface. Ideal for mastering and measuring systems, the ADI-2 is also suited for mobile use, such as combining it with an Apple iPad. The high-resolution IPS display makes monitoring the ADI-2 easier than ever, allowing a quick and easy overview of all functions and parameters.
