The CAD GLX3000 is designed to be the perfect ‘go-to’ microphone for a range of recording applications. The large diaphragm and three selectable pickup patterns allow you to cater to a range of input sources, from vocals to instruments. The built-in hi-pass filter and attenuator gives you added control, allowing you to minimise low frequencies when recording. The three selectable pickup patterns include: Cardioid, figure-of-eight and omnidirectional. Each pick up pattern is suited to a different application, for example the cardioid pattern is ideal for vocal performances as it is designed to pickup sound in front of the microphone, eliminating any excess noise around it. The high sensitivity and linear frequency response produces a rich yet transparent sound, ideal for a range of studio applications.

Design & Construction

the CAD GLX3000 features a sleek and polished all-metal design, with the selectable pickup patterns clearly labelled and located on the front of the microphone. Additionally, the GXL3000 comes complete with an elastic shock mount and a protective pouch for storing the microphone when not in use. 48V Phantom Power is required for the microphone to operate.
