Key Features
Product Ref: 93580
The Tanglewood TWJLJ features a travel size dreadnought body, which can handle many different genres and playing styles. The travel size is ideal for those players craving full thick tone a dreadnought produces, but can't handle the size of a dreadnought. This smaller size is also ideal for those on their travels that don't have a lot of luggage space.
The Tanglewood TWJLJ features a stunning spruce top which produces a crisp, versatile tone suitable for many styles of playing, and an un-muddied sound which will retain its clarity when you strum hard. The back and sides are crafted from amara which offer great sustain, bright attack, and excellent durability. Its amara back features a stunning spalt mago wedge, offering a great mid-range response and a wonderful visual flare that adds to its stunning aesthetics.
The neck is made from nato wood, which is a distant relative of eastern mahogany, offering similar tonal properties, including rich-warmth, great resonance, and brilliant durability. The nato neck is topped with sonokeling fingerboard which produces similar tones to rosewood, offering a smooth play and bright sparkly tones that really shine through when using finger-picking techniques. For added elegance, this fingerboard also features a sophisticated Tanglewood 'T' brand logo situated on the 12th fret.
The Tanglewood TWJLJ Java is a well-crafted, beautifully designed travel acoustic guitar which is finished with a classy and sophisticated look. A traditional sound-hole rosette complements its spruce top, mahogany binding, and natural gloss finish, to provide an elegant shimmer to a stunning body. The Java is finished with open back nickel vintage machineheads, a classy Tanglewood 'T' on the 12th fret, and signature Tanglewood brand logo that graces the head-plate.
