The ESP LTD F-200B is crafted from basswood to create a comfortably weighted body that produces fat, well-balanced tones with a touch of softness. The basswood offers flow and openness to the tone, producing defined dynamical ranges with a muscular midrange that has plenty of grind. The F Series body shape has sharp, striking angles for the ultimate metal aesthetics. The F-200B is finished in charcoal metallic to shimmer under the stage lights.
The F-200B has a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard to deliver a bright, sweet tone that is soft and has clean projection. The maple and rosewood combination provides fizz to the high end so that they sparkle, opens up the midrange for a snappy attack and thickens up the lows to make them firm.
