The Martin 000RSG features a solid sitka spruce top which produces a versatile sound that is able to accommodate numerous genres and techniques with ease; from lighter fingerpicking styles, to heavier more aggressive strumming patterns. In addition, its stunning sitka spruce top also yields a crisp and articulate tone with a broad dynamic range, and a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm mid-range, and bright singing highs. Furthermore, the solid top is accompanied by siris back and sides, which shares many of the same tonal properties as koa. Siris delivers a clear, well-balanced tone with an incredible amount of warm overtones. Together, this combination of tonewoods lets you achieve a wide variety of genres and can accommodate medium strength strumming.

Comfortable 000-14 Body

A 000-14 fret body offers a comfortable playing experience and is similar in proportion to auditorium sized guitars. The 000RSG projects incredible clarity and superb tonal balance across the spectrum with superior sustain across the top-register. Additionally, its mixture of timbers, 000-14 fret body and non-scalloped X-bracing allow the guitar to project a full, rich, and sonically-even tone, perfect for solo work or group jams. Furthermore, the 000RSG also provides a comfortable playing experience throughout both seated and standing performance due to its curvaceous shape, whilst its nipped-in waist enables the player to hold the guitar close to the body for easier playability.
