The Hofner HCT Violin Bass is the contemporary version that recreates the style and sound of the original 1964 Violin Bass Guitar. This new model features a sustain block inside the body that provides modern, deep resonating bass sounds whilst retaining the classic Hofner style. This bass has a short scale length of 30" and features a Spruce top with flame Maple sides, along with a 3 piece Maple/Beech set neck and two Hofner Staple pickups.
