The simple, no-nonsense Les Paul Junior, great for down and dirty rock and roll, to meanstreet blues, to raw garage punk. It boasts a light all-mahogany body and one roaring P-90 pickup; totally down to business yet surprisingly versatile.

Quality Construction

The Les Paul Junior is made from solid mahogany, a tonewood used in countless classic Gibson electric guitars, with great sonic depth and richness, yet always remaining clear and articulate. The guitar's neck is also made from solid mahogany, cut to the superior quarter-sawn orientation, carved to the fast yet comfortable SlimTaper™ profile, and glued into the body with the mortise & tenon joint which promotes resonance and sustain. It has a rich, dark Obeche fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 12-inch radius for easy, choke-free bending. The guitar has a A PLEK-cut Corian nut which ensures precise intonation while enhancing sustain. This is further aided by Gibson's traditional 17-degree back-angled headstock.

One P-90 Pickup

This Les Paul Junior is equipped with a hot, raw P-90 pickup, which is an accurate reproduction of Gibson's favorite single-coil pickup. It's wound with 42-AWG wire and employs a pair of genuine Alnico V bar magnets for a sound that is equally as smooth as it is snarly, along with characteristic P-90 edge and bite. The guitar features a "lightning bar" wraparound tailpiece with raised compensated saddle ridge for improved intonation and vintage-style tuners.

Gigbag Included

This Les Paul Junior comes protected in a padded Gibson gigbag and includes an owner's manual.
