The Custom Shop Limited Edition 1955 Relic is equipped with a Custom Shop hand-wound '55 split-coil P-Bass pickup that's positioned just in the right spot, producing the authentic and formidable Precision Bass tone. Additionally, this iconic instrument features a 2-saddle '50s authentic reproduction bridge with steel barrel saddles and chrome cover, American Vintage tuners, a limited edition Custom Shop neck plate and a worn relic treatment on the back of the Maple neck. The Limited Edition 1955 Relic comes complete with a stunning two-colour sunburst finish and nitrocellulose lacquer, imparting the appearance of years of aging and use without the need for heavy wear and tear. Also included is a Limited Edition case containing a 1955 Fender Downbeat catalog insert reproduction.
