The TM-1 brings Roland quality into a package that's accessible to first-time users. Featuring 15 ready-to-play kits (2 sounds per kit), just add drum triggers and you're ready to go. Direct access control knobs and two footswitches make adjustments easier than ever, with sensitivity, pitch, decay, and level knobs for fine tuning your sound. Hybrid drumming has never been easier.
With the addition of the Editor app, you won't be limited to the built-in sounds. You will have access to a library of over 150 additional sounds too. Kicks, snares, toms - even synth loops. You will also be able to import your own samples (up to 6 seconds) into the editor, making the sonic possibilities virtually endless. As well as using your own unique sounds, all of the TM-1 sounds are also available for tweaking in the editor. Available on MAC/Windows and iOS/Android mobile devices, you aren't limited to PC/laptop connectivity. That means more weight off your shoulders, and more space in your bag. App available March 2019.
Unlike other modules, the TM-1 features a sleek, compact design that is more in line with the demands of a modern drummer. Battery operation eliminates the stress of remembering power supplies and locating free plug-sockets that are also nearby. With the unique foot-pedal design, you can integrate the TM-1 seamlessly into your drum setup with no drama. And, combined with other compact and lightweight gear, you could be travelling seriously light.
Like many more expensive triggers on the market, the Roland TM-1 Drum Module can be connected to USB as a MIDI device. This allows you to trigger the sounds of virtual instruments, record MIDI, control clips and other functions using DAW software like Ableton Live.
