The Carl Martin Red Repeat 2016 Edition delivers the same beautiful sound of its predecessor, but with some added tweaks. The 2016 Edition includes a Manual Time toggle switch combined with a Tap Tempo footswitch, and a Modulation toggle switch with dedicated controls. The Manual Time selector allows you to switch between Manual Time and Tap Tempo modes. With the dedicated Tap Tempo footswitch added to the 2016 edition, you have complete control over the pace of your delays. Flicking the switch back to Manual Time reverts the tempo back to the control knob setting.
With the added Modulation switch, you can modulate the echoes of your sound to mimic the flutter of vintage tape echo machines. The speed and depth of this can be controlled by using the dedicated small black control knobs above the switch. These welcome additions to the Red Repeat help to further enhance your tonal capabilities, and improve the versatility of the unit itself
